Huzzah, Boston, the city I was born in. Allison had a conference in the City on the Hill (no one calls it that), so we flew to Mass to hang out before. I took her to Springfield, where I grew up (birthplace of Basketball) and we saw some sights (including the famous Northampton, Mass.) and met up with some of my high school friends (all who are still rocking dudes). Then we traveled to Boston where we saw such sights as: The Commons (and the Make Way for Ducklings ducks), Legal Seafood, Harvard Square, Copley Square, Shear Madness (the longest running non-musical play in the country), a bunch of T-stops, the bay, Johnny Cupcakes, some pigeons and more!
In fact, the only real dissapointment came from us traveling to The Barking Crab for some seafood (because it was featured on Man vs. Food), only to find it closed for a ten day “winter break” period. Bah! Oh well.
All in all, it was good to be back.
