A little pre-Christmas treat for you all. This is an old SNL skit that Julian Casablancas, the lead singer of The Strokes, covered on his latest album (and then did here on Jimmy Fallon’s show).

A neat little fact: I interviewed Horatio Sanz years ago for my college newspaper (back when he was still a roly-poly guy). After the interview, I told him my brother Bryan loved this song. Horatio said that Julian was thinking about covering it on an upcoming album. I knew that would be awesome indeed and hoped he would do it - and years later, that’s exactly what he did. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause.
