My good friends Kevin and Brian began Plum Street Productions, a new Cincinnati film company, about a month ago. Today we shot our first commercial, written by my co-head writer Scott and I. It is for the world famous KT’s Barbecue in Reading - a place that has received a fair share of controversy over it’s advertising mannequin (playfully named BarBe Q). Owner Kenny’s story has been covered on places like The LA Times, The Huffington Post, Newser, and Ohio.com. Our commercial is for an upcoming Halloween promotion where people can vote on BarBe’s holiday costume. We had a great and professional cast and crew who came together and worked hard to film this 30 second spot. More information (and the full commercial) coming soon, but for now, enjoy these pics taken and twittered from my BlackBerry.
