On Saturday, September 26, I went to my first MidPoint Music Festival. For those unsure or unaware of what it is, MPHF is “an independent music festival and industry conference,” where bands from all over come and play at multiple venues throughout Cincinnati. I was blown away by the amount of talent the festival showcased. I saw Mia Carruthers, from MTV’s Taking The Stage (and was part of the crowd filmed for an upcoming episode), Chairlift, from this iPod commercial, and others. Looking back now, I’m really sorry I only saw one of the three-day festival and know that next year, if I’m still here in Cincinnati, I’m doing it all. Count on it.
